The largest tin soldier constructed from metal measures 9.75m (32ft) in height and weighs approximately 4.5 tonnes. It was constructed by the Sheet Metal Workers International Association and the BC Sheet Metal Association. It is now on permanent display at New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.
It was built for the Festival of Trees, organised by the Simon Fraser Society for Community Living.
