The largest mortar is 3.29 m (10 ft 9.5 in) high, and has a diameter of 3.07 m (10 ft 0.8 in) at its mouth, and its pestle is 4.73 m (15 ft 6.2 in) long and 0.85 m (2 ft 9.4 in) in diameter, and was created by Ayuntamiento de Macael (Spain) and measured in Macael, Spain, on 28 March 2015.

The mortar was cut from solid stone, and the set is now proudly displayed in the town centre.
