“All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey (USA) had amassed 140 weeks in the Top 100 of the UK’s Official Singles Chart as of 9 January 2025.

The festive favourite recorded just 14 chart weeks – with a peak position of No.2 – by March 1995, but thanks to downloads and streaming, it has returned to the UK Top 25 every Christmas since 2007 and finally reached No.1 on 17 December 2020 – in its 104th chart week – for two weeks, and again on 15 December 2022 for one week.

The track had been streamed 475 million times in the UK as of December 2024, with more than 1 million paid-for sales registered.

Kirsty MacColl (138 weeks with The Pogues on “Fairytale of New York”), Lady Gaga (116 weeks with Bradley Cooper on “Shallow”), Tones and I (116 weeks with “Dance Monkey”), Sia (114 weeks with “Chandelier”) and Ariana Grande (110 weeks with The Weeknd on “Save Your Tears”) are some other long-running females on the Official Singles Chart.
