A three-layer bed of nails sandwich was created by a five person team from Tallmadge, Ohio, USA, on the set of Guinness World Records: Primetime on 25 June, 1998. The 15.25 cm (6 in) nails were spaced 5 cm (2 in) apart.
The three men creating the sandwich were from bottom to top, Lee Graber, Todd Graber (Lee's brother and student) and Kris Bolyard (Lee's student). Jeanna Eisneberg and Tim Large assisted them.
