Most JUNO Awards nominations (male)

Between 1980 and 2020, Bryan Adams (Canada) received 63 JUNO Awards nominations, 21 of which converted into wins.

His victories include Album of the Year in 1984 (Cuts Like a Knife) and 1985 (Reckless), and seven Best Male Artist awards (1983-87, 1997 and 2000). The “Groover from Vancouver” was also named Canadian Entertainer of the Year in 1987 and 1992, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2006. In 2010, he received the JUNO Awards’ prestigious Humanitarian Award, in recognition of his fundraising efforts for The Prince’s Trust, Amnesty International, Live Aid/Live 8, PETA, cancer research (from the proceeds of sale of his photography) and his own Bryan Adams Foundation, among other good causes.

Other male artists with multiple nominations at the JUNO Awards include conductor Charles Dutoit (43), The Weeknd (42), Michael Bublé (40) and Jim Cuddy (39).

As of 24 March 2024, Adams had received more nominations than all but one artist – Céline Dion (75).
