Today’s challenger, CUE6 is an AI basketball shooter humanoid robot which is developed by Toyota's R&D (Frontier research team). The 'CUE' development project initially began in 2017 with a few volunteer employees of Toyota. The challenger CUE6 is the 6th generation of CUE series, but this was the second GWR achievement for the CUE series, actually. In 2019, CUE3 the 3rd generation had achieved a record for the Most consecutive basketball free throw by a humanoid robot (assisted).
