Most frog legs sold in a working day (8 hr)

At the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival, Florida, USA the most frog legs sold within the space of a working day was 32.43 kg (71.5 lb) on 19 January 2001. The frog legs were sold as part of a dinner comprising 0.5 lb frog legs, grits, coleslaw, and fried hush puppies. Each dinner was sold for US$8 to benefit local recreational activities. The 143 dinners were sold in a space of four hours between 4-8 pm. Over the four-day festival a total of 6,600 lb of frog legs was sold.
