The Shoelace Factory and City Museum worked together to make this Guinness World Records attempt. The shoelace was manufactured with antique shoelace weaving equipment by The Shoelace Factory that is housed inside City Museum. The City Museum resides in a near 100 year old building that was formerly the International Shoe Company warehouse in downtown St. Louis. During the 20th century, St. Louis was once one of the nation's largest shoe manufacturing cities.
