The largest display of handmade copper animal sculptures is 2,054, and was achieved by Kanto Koshinetsu Sheet Metal Industrial Union Council Youth Group (Japan) at Fuji Education and Training Center in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan on 3 August 2024.
The record attempt was to celebrate the 40th anniversary. Artisans came from 7 regions, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Gunma, and Niigata and there were about 300 of them.
