The fastest time to defeat the demon king Ganondorf, aka Ganon, in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo, 1998) is 10 minutes 38.350 seconds by TKC (Japan) on 29 February 2024.

In Ocarina of Time, chief antagonist Ganon makes his first appearance in his Gerudo humanoid form, under the name Ganondorf; until this point, he had been depicted in the series as a monstrous boar-like creature.

Speedrun.com acknowledges three variations on the record for defeating Ganondorf, relating to a glitch known as Stale Reference Manipulation (SRM). If used, SRM allows runners to shave precious minutes of their runs, and Speedrun allows for "Restricted", "Unrestricted" and "No SRM" attempts. GWR accepts only runs made without use of SRM.

TKC - an Ocarina of Time specialist - is a mere three seconds quicker than his closest competition, France's SiirZax at 10 minutes 41.766 seconds, and pushes the record ever closer to the 10-minute mark. TKC's other recent no-SRM speedrun records include defeating all possible bosses as Child Link in 1 hour 19 minutes 52 seconds (18 January 2024), completing an Any% game without opening doors in 27 minutes 14 seconds (3 August 2023), and defeating all the child and adult dungeons without opening doors in 2 hours 4 minutes 42 seconds (10 June 2023).
