Most followed act on Spotify (male)

Indian playback singer, composer and producer Arijit Singh had 158,133,893 million followers on Spotify as of 10 September 2025, making him also the most followed musician overall. The winner of seven Best Male Playback Singer statuettes at India’s prestigious Filmfare Awards (including five in a row in 2016–20), Singh has amassed more followers than Taylor Swift (142.7 million), Ed Sheeran (121.9 million), Billie Eilish (116.7 million) and The Weeknd (110.6 million), and has more than double the number of followers as A R Rahman (68.6 million), another leading star of Hindi cinema.

Singh also boasted 47.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of 10 September 2025. His most popular tracks include “Tum Hi Ho” (from the film Aashiqui 2), which earned him his first Best Male Playback Singer award, “Agar Tum Saath Ho” (from Tamasha) and “Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage” (from Kabir Singh), which has registered streams of 590.1 million.
