Ryan Waters (USA, b. 27 August 1973) was aged 36 years 147 days when he completed his overland crossing of Antarctica at the Axel Heiberg Glacier on 21 January 2010. He had set out on 13 November 2009 from South Berkner Island, skiing alongside Cecilie Skog of Norway.
The 1,800-km (1,118-mile) journey took the pair 69 days.
