RAYE (b. Rachel Keen, UK) took home a record six trophies when the 2024 BRIT Awards came to London’s O2 Arena, UK, on 2 March. The singer-songwriter won Mastercard Album of the Year (My 21st Century Blues), Song of the Year with Mastercard (“Escapism.” (feat. 070 Shake)), Artist of the Year, Best R&B Act and Best New Artist in association with TRESemme on the night, and was also named Songwriter of the Year (voted for by the BRIT Committee) in the days leading up to the 44th BRIT Awards.

Blur (1995), Adele (2016) and Harry Styles (2023) have each won four BRIT awards in a single night in nominated categories.

RAYE collected BRITs for five of her seven nominations (single-year record), as two of her tracks were put forward for Song of the Year (“Escapism.” (feat. 070 Shake) and “Prada” (feat. cassö & D-Block Europe)) and Dua Lipa picked up the fan-voted Best Pop Act award.

She performed a medley of “Ice Cream Man”, “Prada” and “Escapism.” at the ceremony.

Other 2024 winners included Jungle (Group of the Year), Miley Cyrus (International Song of the Year for “Flowers”), SZA (International Artist of the Year), Chase & Status (Producer of the Year), The Last Dinner Party (Rising Star), and Kylie Minogue (Global Icon).
