The snake, made with bamboo and paper, was carried by nearly 300 people along the Galleria Takemachi shopping street. It was adorned by heart-shaped paper of different colors and sizes, all with wishes written by people all over Oita. The attempt was held as part of the festival celebrating the opening of Oita Prefectural Art Museum (OPAM).
