The American Express Centurion credit card, also known as the 'Black card' has an annual fee of $1,000 (£700) and is only open to those with a minimum salary of $215,000 (£150,000) p.a. The card has no spending limits and is offered by invitation only to selected individuals who travel a lot, entertain a lot, and expect exceptional service. Examples of perks include front row seats at fashion shows, a bump up the list for luxury car purchases, complimentary international mobiles and private shopping hours in selected luxury stores.
