Lil' Bow Wow (aka Shad Lamar Moss b. 9 March 1987) went to No.1 on the US Rap and RB charts with 'Bounce with Me' featuring Xscape, his first single from the album Beware Of Dog, which was released the same week in July 2000.
The young rapper got his stage name at the age of 6 from Snoop Dogg when performing at Snoop's 1993 Chronic Tour in Columbus, Ohio, Lil Bow Wow's hometown.
Since then, he has performed on several albums including Snoop's Doggy Style, the soundtrack to Will Smith's Wild Wild West (US 1999) and Jermaine Dupri's Big Mama's House.
