Jenni Stephenson (UK, b. 29 April 1989) was aged 28 years 266 days when she completed her ski across Antarctica on 20 January 2018. She was a member of “Exercise Ice Maiden”, a six-person British Army Expedition team that also included Zanna Baker, Sandy Hennis, Sophie Montagne, Nat Taylor and leader Nics Wetherill. The sextet started out on 20 November 2017 and took 61 days to complete the route, covering around 1,700 km (1,056 miles).

As a group, the members of Exercise Ice Maiden are also the first all-female team to ski across Antarctica.

They travelled via the South Pole Overland Traverse (SPoT) ice road from the base of the Leverett Glacier on the inland coast of the Ross Ice Shelf to the South Pole, then off-road to Hercules Inlet on the inland coast of the Ronne Ice Shelf.

The expedition had two resupplies en route.
