The oldest married couple to complete all six World Marathon Majors (aggregate age) is 121 years 104 days, and was achieved by Jun Liang Lu and Yuan Ming Song (both Canada) between 12 October 2014 and 15 April 2024.
After visiting Dublin, Ireland and learning how Guinness World Records was founded, Jun Liang and Yuan Ming were inspired to attempt their own record.
They share a passion for marathon running and the desire to push the boundaries of human capability. As long-distance runners who faced many challenges over the years, they felt compelled to challenge themselves and inspire others through this endeavor.
