Cuphead: Selected Tunes From, with music and lyrics by Canada’s Kristofer Maddigan), debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Jazz Albums chart on 14 September 2019.

The Halo 4 soundtrack debuted at No.50 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart on 10 November 2012 – the highest-charting videogame soundtrack on the US albums chart – and No.3 on Billboard’s Soundtracks chart, making it the highest-charting videogame soundtrack on any Billboard chart before Cuphead debuted at No.1 on Jazz Albums.

Another chart-friendly videogame soundtrack is Minecraft: Volume Alpha, which peaked at No.4 on Billboard’s Soundtracks chart on 29 July 2023 and No.5 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart on 17 December 2022. The album was released by German musician C418 (Daniel Rosenfeld).

Cuphead (Studio MDHR, 2017) was initially released for Windows and Xbox One. It was ported to the Nintendo Switch in April 2019. The Cuphead soundtrack replaced Michael Bublé’s Love at No.1 on Jazz Albums.
