Leap-the-Dips, a traditional side-friction wooden roller coaster at Lakemont Park, Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA, was built by the Edward Joy Morris Company in 1902. It was closed to the public in 1985, seemingly at the end of its life, but was restored and re-opened in 1999. The Leap-the-Dips Preservation Foundation was responsible for raising the US$850,000 restoration budget.
