First held in 2004, the Red Bull BC One is an annual individual B-Boy competition; the first B-Girl event took place in 2018. The main event is a knockout tournament that sees 16 competitors lining up for head-to-head battles.
Ami was the inaugural B-Girl champion. On 21 October 2023, she was awarded a record-equalling second title after defeating China’s 671 (b. Liu Qing Yi) in the final at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris, France.
