The most engines on a flying remote-controlled (RC) model aircraft is 50 and was achieved by Peter Sripol (USA) in Malvern, Ohio, United States on 4 August 2021.
As part of a group project to build a giant aircraft for Flite Fest 2021, Peter and his team set out to build a gigantic aircraft with a 10 metre wingspan and 25 motors attached to each wing. The aircraft was built on location from foam and cardboard with an army of volunteers helping peter realise his vision for a 50 engine aircraft which climbed and had a flight that went remarkably well.
