Constanza Oyarce (Chile) leaked 92 runs in four overs – including 12 no balls – playing against Argentina at the Maurice Runnacles Oval (St Albans Club) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 13 October 2023. The 18-year-old was one of six Chile bowlers who were smashed to all parts of the ground by Argentina’s Lucia Taylor (169) and Albertina Galan (145 not out), whose record 350-run first-wicket stand elevated the hosts to 427 for 1 from their 20 overs. No team, male or female, has scored as many runs in a T20 International (T20I).

Oyarce again (86 runs off four overs on 14 October) and teammates Emilia Toro (83 runs off three overs on 13 October), Camila Valdes (78 runs off four overs on 13 October) and Florencia Martinez (71 runs off three overs on 15 October) owned five of the six worst-ever T20I bowling figures by runs conceded after the inexperienced Chile team’s shockingly one-sided three-match series against Argentina in Buenos Aires on 13–15 October 2023.
