                        Billy Baxter (UK) reached a speed of 265.33 km/h (164.87 mph) while riding a 1,200cc Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle unsighted at RAF Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, UK, on 2 August 2003.
Baxter lost his sight due to an eye infection while he was serving with the army in Bosnia in 1997. With the help of the Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team he developed a three-way radio communications system involving himself and two outriders behind him.
