The most consecutive UFC title defences (female) is 7, achieved by Valentina Shevchenko (Kyrgyzstan) at women’s flyweight between 8 June 2019 and 12 June 2022.
Shevchenko’s flyweight reign began with victory over Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 231. She defended her belt seven times before suffering a surprise loss to Alexa Grasso at UFC 285 on 4 March 2023.
Amanda Nunes also completed seven successful title defences between 2016 and 2020, but these were split across two divisions (five at bantamweight and two at featherweight).
