The first four-belt undisputed world boxing champion at two weights (male) is Terence Crawford (USA) at super lightweight and welterweight, achieved in Nevada, USA, on 29 July 2023.
Crawford unified the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF welterweight titles with a comprehensive win over Errol Spence, flooring his opponent three times before securing a ninth-round TKO. Crawford became the first four-belt champion at welterweight, having achieved the same honour in the super-lightweight division in 2017. This made Crawford only the second boxer in the four-belt era to become undisputed champion at two different weights, after women’s middleweight and light-middleweight champion Claressa Shields.
