Horse racing – Oaks fastest time

The fastest time for The Oaks horse race is 2 minutes 34.06 seconds, achieved by Love and jockey Ryan Moore on 4 July 2020 at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, UK.

The Oaks, one of British horse racing’s five Classics, is open to three-year-old fillies. During the Second World War a substitute race was held at Newmarket, where a fastest time of 2 minutes 29.40 seconds was recorded by Godiva in 1940.
