The fastest 200 metres unpaced cycle from a flying start by a female is 10.154 seconds, achieved by Kelsey Mitchell (Canada) at the Pan-American Track Cycling Championships in Cochabamba, Bolivia, on 5 September 2019.
Mitchell broke the women’s 200-m flying time trial world record only two years after beginning training as a track cyclist, following trials for the Canadian Olympic Committee’s Training Ground program.
