Kenny won seven golds and two silvers across four Olympic Games between Beijing and Tokyo. He won three golds and a silver in the team sprint, two golds and a silver in the individual sprint and two golds in the Keirin. Kenny won the Keirin on 8 August 2021 at the Izu Velodrome in Shizuoka, Japan, to move one beyond Bradley Wiggins’s Olympic haul of eight medals.
