Only four other players have accomplished this feat. Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants joined the club in 1996, as did Seattle Mariners' Alex Rodriguez (all USA) in 1998. Alfonso Soriano (Dominican Republic) of the Washington Nationals (USA) gained his 40/40 status in 2006, and most recently, Ronald Acuña, Jr. (Venezuela) from the Atlanta Braves (USA), became a member in 2023.
