Donald Winfield of Caledonia, Ontario, Canada, produced and passed 5,704 kidney stones between 20 February 1986 and 14 September 2006. The stones range in size from that of a small clump of sand to the size of peas, and the most he ever passed in a 24-hour period was 22.
Donald passed away on 15 March 2015; in lieu of flowers at the funeral, his family requested donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
