Free diver Francisco Ferraras (USA), better known as Pipin, dived to a depth of 155.7 m (511 ft) using the two-breath technique at Cabo San Lucas, Grand Cayman, on 6 June 1999. In this discipline, the diver is allowed a second inhalation of air on the way down, but doesn't breathe out until the ascent.
This method of diving is not recognised by any of the world free diving bodies and therefore has no "official" sanction.
