The highest altitude achieved in an auto rickshaw is 5,798.51 m (19,024 ft) and was achieved by Greg Harris, Priya Singh (both Canada), Michele Daryanani (Italy) and Nevena Lazarevic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in Hanle, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on 16 September 2022.
The team is happy to have successfully achieved this Guinness World Records title. The most challenging bit was the autorickshaws themselves as they had approximately 6.6 horsepower- about the same as a personal lawnmower.
