The longest journey by an electric semi-trailer truck, single charge is 817.5 km (507 miles 1709 yards) and was achieved by Ding Xuan and Liu QuanLin (both China) driving a SANY MOTA 1165 at the event organized by SANY TRUCK (China), in Dong Guan, Guang Dong, China, on 28 May 2023.
They started the journey from Changsha in Hunan on 28 May and finished at Dongguan in Guangdong on 29 May. The trailer weighed 23,820 kg, and the electric semi-trailer truck (with the trailer) weighed 40,580 kg.
