Dorothy Allison, from Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, assisted police in over 5,000 cases as a law enforcement psychic. Allison, who did not receive any payment, was able to describe the face of David Berkowitz, the 'Son of Sam' serial killer that terrorised New York in 1977, to a police sketch artist, and also correctly predicted that he would be caught due to an unpaid parking ticket. In 1974, she also described the hideouts in Pennsylvania and New York City where millionaire heiress Patsy Hearst was being held. Allison also foresaw that Hearst would join her abductors' radical cell and participate in a bank robbery with them. Allison foresaw her own death - in 1990 she told her family that she would not live to see 75 - she passed away on 1 Dec 1999, a month before her 75th birthday.
