The youngest woman to climb the highest 8,000ers: Adriana Brownlee (UK, b. 8 Jan 2001) reached the summit of the world’s second-highest point on 29 Jul 2022, aged 21 years 202 days. Achieved with Nepal’s Gelje Sherpa, it was her ninth successful 8,000er. It also made her the youngest woman to climb K2, and the youngest woman to climb Everest and K2.
