Largest superyacht

The largest superyacht as well as the fastest is the 13,136 tons gross Azzam built by Lürssen Yachts, in 2013 for Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan. It measures 180.61 m overall by 20.8 m (592.55 by 68.24 ft) and is propelled at a maximum speed of 33 knots (61.12 km/h; 37.98 mph) by two gas turbines and has two diesels for economical cruising. Accommodation is provided for 36 guests and up to 80 crew members.

The yacht was designed to take the owner to his private island off Dubai.
