The most Primetime Emmy Award nominations received for Outstanding Stunt Coordination and Outstanding Stunt Performance is 13 by Cort L. Hessler III (USA), between his first in 2002 for Third Watch (NBC) and his most recent in 2022 for season nine of The Blacklist (NBC). He has taken home the trophy on just one ocassion, in 2014, for his work on the first season of The Blacklist.

Hessler has been Emmy-nominated eight times for his work on The Blacklist, but was also nominated for stunt coordination on ER (NBC) and Blue Bloods (CBS). He has worked on more than 80 TV shows, most recently in 2022's Let the Right One In (Showtime). His movie credits as a stunt coordinator or 2nd unit director number over 100, and include The Irishman (2019), Doctor Strange (2016), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and I Am Legend (2007).
