The notes had last been seen in 1909 but were discovered in the archives of the University of Munich in 1995. The file describes the woman's symptoms as beginning with irrational jealousy, paranoia and anxiety. "Auguste D" spent four years bedridden before dying of bedsores in 1906. It is understood that the woman's brain may still be stored somewhere in the university.
