The largest cruise terminal in the world is located on the Dante B. Fascell port of Miami-Dade in Florida (USA) and was made specially for the docking of the Voyager of the Sea, the largest cruiser in the world. The 250,000 square ft. terminal was built alongside 2,000 ft. stretch of pier.
The terminal was built to provide space for 8,400 people and includes 4,200 ft. of automated baggage delivery systems, check-in areas, hospitality suites, shopping areas, special airline areas for passengers connecting flights, Customs and Immigration facilities, business conference centres and covered parking for 733 cars.
