The grand final, which saw South Korean team DRX emerge victorious over fellow South Korean team T1, took place in the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on 5 November. It saw a peak viewership (the maximum number of concurrent viewers) of 5,147,701, surpassing Worlds 2021’s 4 million peak viewers.
The 2022 League of Legends World Championship, organised by developer Riot Games (USA), was held from 29 September to 5 November 2022 across a number of venues in Mexico and the United States. It featured 24 teams from 11 regions, with 12 of those teams reaching the main event.
