Since 1983, Moirangthem Okendra Kumbi of Manipur, India, has been shaping the shoots of a Sky Flower bush (Duranta repens variegata) in his 'Hedge to Heaven' garden, which has grown to a height of 18.59 m (61 ft). Overall, with the help of a specially constructed ladder, he has cut 41 structural shapes repeating a design of a rounded umbrella followed by two discs.
