Gnarlton, like other Powerwash Simulator speedrunners, uses the "wiggle-waggle" technique to clean dirt from surfaces as quickly as possible. This technique involves leaving the washer on auto-spray while rapidly moving the cursor from side-to-side, switching nozzles as required. Some Powerwash Simulator levels, such as the Gnome Fountain, take upwards of two hours to complete, so speedrunners increase mouse sensitivity to reduce wrist sprain.
