First Super Mario 64 120 star blindfolded completion

The first Super Mario 64 120 star blindfolded completion was achieved by Bubzia (Germany) in 11 hours 22 minutes 43 seconds on 8 May 2022.

Speedrunner Bubzia became the first person to complete Super Mario 64 while blindfolded and with all 120 stars collected during a mammoth 11-hour livestream on Twitch.

Fuelled by coffee, energy sweets and a big bowl of rice, Bubzia used audio cues and an encyclopedic knowledge of Nintendo’s seminal platformer to become the first and currently only person to complete the 120 star Mario 64 blindfold challenge.

Bubzia began his training in March 2021, putting in around 700 hours of practice and countless failed attempts. The effort paid off - Bubzia completed this incredibly difficult challenge in a single, unbroken run without breaks.
