With the No.1 debuts of The Tortured Poets Department on the Billboard 200 and “Fortnight” (feat. Post Malone) on the Hot 100 on 4 May 2024, Taylor Swift (USA) extended her lead as the act with the most simultaneous No.1 starts – six – on Billboard’s flagship countdowns.
Previously, she had scored a chart double with: Folklore and "Cardigan” on 8 August 2020; Evermore and "Willow” on 26 December 2020; Red (Taylor’s Version) and "All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” on 27 November 2021; Midnights and "Anti-Hero” on 5 November 2022; and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and “Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version) [From The Vault]” on 11 November 2023.
The Billboard 200 and the Hot 100 were inaugurated, respectively, on 24 March 1956 and 4 August 1958.
