With the No.1 debuts of Midnights on the Billboard 200 and “Anti-Hero” on the Hot 100 on 5 November 2022, Taylor Swift (USA) extended her lead as the act with the most simultaneous No.1 starts on Billboard’s flagship countdowns – four. Previously, she had done it with folklore and ”cardigan” on 8 August 2020, evermore and ”willow” on 26 December 2020 and Red (Taylor’s Version) and ”All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” on 27 November 2021.
Drake is the only act other than Swift to achieve the feat more than once since the Billboard 200 (24 March 1956) and Hot 100 (4 August 1958) were inaugurated. The rapper scored a chart double with Certified Lover Boy and “Way 2 Sexy” (feat. Future & Young Thug) on 18 September 2021 and Honestly, Nevermind and “Jimmy Cooks” (feat. 21 Savage) on 2 July 2022.
