Most songs to debut at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (female)

On 20 June 2026, “I Knew It, I Knew You” by Taylor Swift (USA) became the ninth of her 15 US No.1s to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. She had previously entered at No.1 with “Shake It Off” (6 September 2014), “Cardigan” (8 August 2020), “Willow” (26 December 2020), “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” (27 November 2021), “Anti-Hero” (5 November 2022), “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version)” (11 November 2023), “Fortnight” (4 May 2024) and “The Fate of Ophelia” (18 October 2025).

“I Knew It, I Knew You” edged Swift back ahead of Ariana Grande, just a week after she’d tied Swift’s eight US No.1 debuts with “Hate that I Made You Love Me” on 13 June 2026.

Canadian rapper Drake (10) is the only act with more No.1 debuts on the Hot 100 than Swift – his latest being “Janice STFU” on 30 May 2026.

“I Knew It, I Knew You” was the 93rd song to debut at No.1 in the Hot 100 era (since 4 August 1958). The first was Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone” on 2 September 1995.
