Rea won six races during the 2022 Superbike season to take his career tally to 118. He became the first Superbike rider to record a century of victories on 22 May 2021, at MotorLand Aragón in Spain. To date, Rea has won exactly twice as many races as his closest all-time rival, Carl Fogarty (59 wins). Fifteen of his wins came for Honda; 103 for Kawasaski.
