Guildford Borough Council constructed within the grounds of Guildford Castle, Surrey, UK, an underground Millennium Time Vault measuring 200 m ³ (7,062 ft³) to house artefacts representing the 20th century, for entombment in March 2000. Along with photographs of the top 20 beautiful women, there was a specially treated Mini car to stop it decaying, a violin once belonging to Yehudi Menuhin and, a Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy statuette.
The photographs of 20 women declared to be the most beautiful from a poll carried out by beauty products frim Beautiko in 1999, will be placed in the vault. Topping the list was Sophia Loren.
