The most rotations of a hula hoop whilst suspended upside down in one minute is 145 and was achieved by Vedathreyan Gokulnath (India) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on 7 July 2025.

For this attempt, Vedathreyan used a 65cm hula hoop and attempted this successful feat in front of his classmates and teachers. He is said to be quite a fan of circus arts and this was evident as he rotated the hula hoop while suspended upside down for exactly one minute. His father commends his son's hard work and dedication as it serves as an inspiration to all.
