The circular brick structure of Clifton Hill Shot tower, built 1882 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, stands at 78m 225ft with a diameter of 7m 22fttapering to 4m 13ft at the top. From its completion to 1930, it was Australia's tallest structure. Used for making lead shot for bullets, it is now owned by the National Trust.
